NRG Engineering put together the Project Management Team for the Shell Gumusut Kakap Semi-Sub Fabrication project (1.7-billion dollar project) at MMHE’s shipyard in Malaysia.
The project team included the Project Manager for the hull section supported by two Construction Managers handling the hull construction and hull systems. We were also responsible for:
- Ensuring the project is delivered on time, maintaining highest quality and safety standards and sticking to initial cost targets;
- Improving MMHE yards methodologies;
- Representing MMHE in front of client Shell.
The project lasted a total of four years.
